I walked downtown yesterday and wanted to photograph this before it's gone. Lanier's Antique Store has some delightfully vintage Halloween decorations in the window and I just adore this old witch..

Old decorations are interesting to see. When I was growing up all the masks children wore if their parents had enough extra money to buy them was made out of paper mache and some out of thin paper like tissue paper.
Abe, I find them interesting, too, and I remember the paper mache ones.. I still have a paper mache pumpkin.. I should try to photograph some more of the old ones he had in the window. The glare on the glass made it difficult to shot some of them.. Today is cloudy so perhaps I can go try again. Thanks for your comment.
Photos of Kissimmee, Florida and surrounding areas from my point of view.
I have posted some photos and impressions of Paris on my other blog: CollageMaven's Haven. “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO, What a Ride!"
I started blogging a few years ago and now have two. My first one just rambles on about anything that comes to mind or is happening in my life. My new one is the Kissimmee Daily Photo Blog that will just be daily photos of the town where I live.
