Our Fire and Rescue squad was at the car show and letting visitors climb into the fire truck. In this photo there is a mother with her little boy enjoying the view from the driver's seat. The doors to the fireman's tools are open for inspection, too. It was nice to see them interacting with the public and I think having the Fire engines and Rescue vehicles drew more people to the car show.

Nice fire truck photo! We just had an "open house" in EAGAN lately and many of the fire and police vehicles were there.

I think it is wonderful when the fire department of a community lets the folks in on what's involved...there couldn't be a more important job!

Glad you liked the Cedar Key "watercolor" of the airstrip...

In fact, we're in Cedar Key as I write this...in a beautiful condo at the Old Fenimore Mill...and I'm sitting looking out over the Gulf...
