Gatorland

This is the newly restored Gator head in front of the Gatorland attraction. Gatorland has been here since 1949 so it preceeded Disney World by many years. A few years ago there was a major fire that destroyed the shop and entrance and damaged the Gator head. It used to be at the entrance and you walked through it to enter the building. It has been restored and painted but now it's just to the right of the entrance.
The sign reads Orlando but it is just on Kissimmee's north border so we consider it Ours!

Here is a link to the GatorCam.

I have posted more photos from Paris on my Collage Maven blog.

An entrance that announces the entertainment.
"Bad boys, if you're not kind, you'll go into the crocodile mouth."

Hmmm...strange-looking gator. Most gators up this-a-way are orange and blue!
