A friend called me last week to tell me about a French Bakery and Bistro she had found on the west side of town. Yesterday she and I and another friend went there for lunch. It is Jean Pierre's Signature French Bakery. They have the best baquettes this side of the Atlantic. All of the food and pastries are freshly made. Jean Pierre had made cassolet for the special du jour and it was delicious. After lunch we shared a large napoleon and had very good coffee.

A taste of France close to home. Now I know where to go when I return and feel homesick for Paris.

Above photo is the entrance and my friends, Cathy and Diane. Below is Jean Pierre at the bar of the Bistro. It is located in the Water Tower Plaza on Hwy 192 near the entrance to Celebration.

ps... it's me. Sharon will take over when I leave.

Sounds like a great place for lunch, too bad I live so far away!

I'm so happy for your trip to Paris! It's wonderful and no doubts you will return with more wonderful pictures and stories!
Glad to know that you had a great time with your friend. It looks a fabulous place for lunch indeed!
Please forgive my absence dear Karen, I'm a little bit busy here as well, but the important thing is that everything is okay!
Take care and have a great week!
Léia :)

That's sounds so good! We have a similar place here called Chez Pierre and you have reminded me that I haven't been there in awhile.

Sounds like you enjoyed it. We'll have to check it out when you get back.

Sounds like it was a great place for lunch. We'll have to check it out when you get back from Paris and you can give me a comparison taste test.
