This is the time of year when it doesn't just rain, it storms. Today was calm but last Saturday the rain came down and managed to get in the ridge vents and drip down onto my kitchen counter. I took these photos from the kitchen and the front porch. I know. I'm only supposed to do one photo but since I played hookey a few days, I figure I can sneak in an extra one.
And notice, too, that finally there is someone living in the little house across the street. I haven't met them yet but they seem to be a young couple with a baby and have mowed three times and have been in the house for less than three weeks so they may turn out to be good neighbors.

Looks like a typhoon. Hope you have a great weekend, inspite of the weather.

This looks familiar! Good for your new neighbors. Can they come up here and mow mine? I just mowed last Saturday and it already needs it again. Ugh!

Wait for the rain to stop and pay them a visit!

Post as many photos as you want, Karen...there's no law that I know of...

This looks a lot like Ocala, lately. And Altamonte Springs where we happened to be this afternoon when a deluge hit!

Sure hope we don't get any high winds with the ground so wet or those big old oaks are gonna come crashing down.

Mowing the lawn is a sure sign of a good neighbor!
