Since I am going to be Karen's guest photographer while she's in Paris, I am doing a trial run while she's still in town. Living on the Space Coast I have seen many shuttle launches but never got to see a Saturn V launch and from what I have heard, it was spectacular. The rocket is so big that it can only be safely displayed horizontally in the Rocket Garden at the Kennedy Space Center.

I have always wanted to witness a launch in person...maybe one day!
Sunny :)
Welcome! Looking forward to your pictures.
Great job, Sharon! I will leave this one in your capable hands for October.. but I'll be checking in from Paris..
So, you are really well organised! I presume then that Karen will not post from Paris or will we have double posts?
Not seen a rocket launched but just down the road from us they build them - aiming to be the first non-government sponsered firm in the space race.
Peter, Sharon will post here because it's local and I'll post from Paris on my other blog. The one that no one reads. Well a few, do, but not many.
