We now have a large bookstore in the Loop, our newest mall. I keep being drawn to the the travel section and checking to see if there are any books on Paris that I have missed. Don't think so. I think I have most, if not all, of them.
Gogouci, I wish I only had 15 waiting to be read. I have piles of them.
Z, Right now my three best are Rick Steves': Paris 2009, Frommer's Paris day by day, and The Litle Black Book of Paris. I used the last two on my first trip and I found them very useful.
Cieldequimper, yes, intruder alert! I saw that when I was editing the photo. If I'd seen it when I was there I'd have fixed it. I tend to straighten up the shelves when I'm in a book store or library.. I can't help myself.. :-)
Photos of Kissimmee, Florida and surrounding areas from my point of view.
I have posted some photos and impressions of Paris on my other blog: CollageMaven's Haven. “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO, What a Ride!"
I started blogging a few years ago and now have two. My first one just rambles on about anything that comes to mind or is happening in my life. My new one is the Kissimmee Daily Photo Blog that will just be daily photos of the town where I live.

I love roaming around bookstores. I always find a read I just have to buy though. I have about 15 books on my 'to read' stack beside my bed.
Ah, a fellow book collector :-)
So, what is your impression of all the different books on Paris? How many of them would you recommend to others? What are your top 3?
;-)
PS: there's an intruder!

That's so funny! I have a few of those, myself. Not all, though!
