This is an older photo I just found of my visiting flock of turkeys. I haven't seen them in quite awhile but they were fun to see when they would parade past my house. I'm hoping they are happy somewhere in a field or forest.
Olivier: yes they did their family walk quite often.
Cezar & Leia: I hope they are happy wherever they are and yes, it is spring here.. almost summer.
Jacob:Amazingly they could fly and one flew into the tree once when I frightened him. They are silly creatures, though and yes they did just wander through the neighborhood but haven't been around for quite awhile. The field where they lived has been cleared and part is a storage facility, part a retention pond and another part has streets and is set up for houses which I don't think will be built for quite awhile. I think they may have moved further south where there is still some open land and trees.
Photos of Kissimmee, Florida and surrounding areas from my point of view.
I have posted some photos and impressions of Paris on my other blog: CollageMaven's Haven. “Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” - Mark Twain "Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways - Chardonnay in one hand - chocolate in the other - body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming, "WOO HOO, What a Ride!"
I started blogging a few years ago and now have two. My first one just rambles on about anything that comes to mind or is happening in my life. My new one is the Kissimmee Daily Photo Blog that will just be daily photos of the town where I live.

Sorry, but I've got to say it: It's hard to fly like an eagle when you're surrounded by a flock of turkeys.
Do these creatures just wander the neighborhood?
